I worked on this portfolio of images for about three years. It was my way of understanding the impact of the passing of my parents and the feelings that engendered. A series of four of the images from this portfolio were awarded first place in the prestigious Rocky Mountain Regional Photography competition in 2004.
The images were all captured on color film in either medium (6x7) or large (4x5) format. The film was then scanned with a high resolution scanner. The detail in these images is really spectacular and they print very well in quite large sizes.
